If you love his work, plan sufficient time to truly see it. Crowded but 3 hrs barely enough for me. Van Gogh was brilliant and tortured, one definitely views his emotion and pain in the canvas. The canal ride was a surprise and quite fun. Last thing I did on a month-long trip!

I really liked the von Gogh museum even though there were really a lot of people! Interesting audio guide, we learned a lot about the painter's life. The cruise was a welcome moment after a lot of walking, also some info about the city by multilingual audio guide.
