The overnight stay in the desert was the highlight - and that's actually why I booked the tour. I had already done a similar safari in Dubai and was thrilled by the moment when, after belly dancing and barbecue, the light was briefly turned off with the advice to take a quick look at the starry sky. Wow! But apart from me that didn't really impress anyone at the time, because the gossip went on and on. But if you would like to experience the unbelievable and almost silent atmosphere of the desert without being "entertained" and distracted by anything, you should definitely book the overnight stay when everyone else is gone and the sightseeing item "Desert Safari" has already been ticked off

The trip was good overall, located at Al Khatem. We went during the Christmas time, started at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Friday and had a great combo of Dune bashing, quad biking, camel ride and arabic traditional dance as well as video shows. Overnight stay at the camp was simply great as the tent and beds were arranged for us (we only had to bring warm clothing and blankets). Will plan for a trip once again during this season (possibly new year!). I recommend the use of advance photography to share photos of night sky to tourists for a charge, which was beautiful too during the late night stay (Al Quaa is where people normally go)

It was an unforgettable adventure, had a lot of fun and our driver was the deciding factor (name: Rashid Ali). He drove safely on the safari tour and also gave us enough time for photos. The organization on site with the attractions, the food and the friendly people is more than the asking price. When staying overnight, only wear warm clothing (thin blankets), as it gets really windy at night.
