This is a fun, easy cruise around the bay. The event was well organized, left on time, and was a good duration, about 90 minutes. A recording recounted the stories of the bridge, Angel Island, and Alcatraz, but one of the crew members also added to the narration with humorous anecdotes. This was a good time and was one of the highlights of our vacation.

The staff on the dock went above and beyond to help us when we had issues getting there and missed our boat, we were so impressed! The main downside was that we couldn’t hear the speakers on the boat and had to stand directly under a speaker to hear it (even then barely and the audio guide wasn’t working on phone). Quite expensive but you do get a good view of Alcatraz from the water.

It was a nice peaceful ride. It was really hard to hear what was being broadcasted over the loud speaker. You could hear better when they slowed down the boat near Alcatraz. Unfortunately, there was a lot of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge, but I could still appreciate its beauty.
