As the tour is weather dependent, and sightings are not guaranteed, you are also invited to join another Northern Lights tour free of charge if the lights don’t appear.  Explore Northern Lights in the Aurora Museum. Daniel & Lucas were our tour guide & driver, respectively. We got there early as advised and the bus arrived pretty spot on. Had to make a few stops on the way for others. There is a bathroom stop on the way because the spot for seeing the lights is way way out in the back of beyond! It is hit or miss on seeing the lights because there are so many factors to consider. Our night was a full moon and we weren’t expecting much, but patience is the key. A few hours later they finally appeared, against all odds we were able to spot them in the northern sky. You will learn a lot from Daniel about the science behind the phenomenon so listen. The lessons are wrapped in sarcastic wit with a touch of irony. Live long & prosper & May the force be with you. Geeks rule!

Soon as we arrived at location near the airport, the Aurora borialis appeared. It was an amazing experience of a lifetime. Thor ( guide) was very informative and knowledgeable. Hot chocolate drink was offered during the trip. Best to check the weather and Aurora borialis app prior to booking. The only concern I have was- I did not realize that tourist can be dropped off near their accommodation after the trip. It would have been less worrisome if information was provided by GetYourGuide at booking - considering the time of return ((@ 0200 ) especially for lone travelers.

We had a great night and saw incredible lights, they could be even seen from the city center. The bus was big and comfortable, the guide Geri very knowledgeable: his explanations were interesting and funny, and helped us taking awesome pictures with our phone, besides taking some with his camera that would be sent to us. There were so many lights and so intense that we even made a first stop along the way to admire them. Also good hot chocolate to warm us up! Suggestion - Take really warm clothes and hats, it will be freezing outside of the city.

Most excellent tour with an outstanding driver and a really cool guide. Lucas (the driver) and Daniel, the Aurora whisperer was super knowledgeable on so many levels! Really good people! I definitely recommend the tour.

The NorthernLights tour was fantastic and we all had a wonderful experience. The guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. To top it off we saw a pretty good display of the lights which really made our holiday.
