Immerse yourself in local culture on a guided tour to the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple. Travel in a comfortable can and have the option to expand your experience with options that include visits to the Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha) and Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn).

Journey to the old part of Bangkok and discover Wat Phra Kaew which is commonly known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and officially as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram. It is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand.  Explore the Grand Palace which was the official residence of the Kings of Thailand. Nowadays, the Grand Palace is still used for official events. After the Grand Palace, continue to visit Wat Pho, if you've selected this option. On the way, pass Tha Thien Market, a culture food market that sells dried, salted seafood and wholesale products. You will have a chance to commute to Wat Pho by private car, a local Tuk Tuk or you can walk there. Visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Pho. It is on the list of six temples in Thailand classed as the highest grade of the first-class royal temples and has been recognized by UNESCO in its Memory of the World Programme. Most importantly, it is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage which is still taught and practiced at the temple today. Continue your journey to Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn). On this trip, you will also get to experience a local shuttle boat which takes you across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun. The temple is one of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks which is known for its giant tower, next to the Chao Phraya River, standing 70 meters high. The temple is decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass surrounded by Chinese porcelain. After a fun cultural half-day out at any option selected, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Bangkok safely to enjoy the rest of your time in the City of Angels!

From start to finish the Driver and Guide Meema were both a perfect duo. As a traveling couple visiting Bangkok we could not fault her personal friendship to us. Her knowledge shared in perfect English with each visit to the temples giving history and sharing stories with remarkable knowledge. On a very hot Day everything was planned to fine detail the use of ferries the ride on a Tuk Tuk to reach the chosen Temples was an additional bonus to us. We loved our day Meema made it that extra bit special. Always grateful x

I wish I would have written down the name of our guide. She was excellent. She was early to meet us at our hotel. We went to the two temples first and then on to the Royal Palace. This is an excellent tour. The temples and palace are absolutely gorgeous. These are must see sites to see when you are in Bangkok. We started right at 8:30AM so not too early and were done by early afternoon. We opted to stay in the old town area and grab some lunch before trying unsuccessfully to find some tourist t-shirts. The guide suggested a really cool restaurant near the palace for lunch and even walked us over there and got us situated before leaving. The lunch was probably the best food we had in Bangkok. Hopefully get your guide can figure out who our guide was and keeps her busy because she was great.
