Amazing experience. highly recommend going if you have a spare evening in Barcelona. It was unlike anything I've ever been too. there is a ton of food before if you get the dinner option so come hungry and there is plenty to drink (cava, sangria etc). The performance was spectacular is all I can say

As a tourist, it difficult to know when you have fallen into a tourist trap or have managed to discover the genuine article. The closest I have ever been to Spanish dance was listening to my parents records of Al Di Meola and Paco de Lucía as a child and seeing dancers on TV. With Cordobes apparently being one of the best spots in Barcelona to catch Flamenco, a town rife with tourists, it is probably likely to be a bit of both at best. Nevertheless, we were stunned by the passion, skill and frankly the engergy exhibited by the artists. Tourist trap or not, the entire night was thoroughly enjoyable and all the elements, from the classical guitar and whaling singers through to the dancers themselves left us exuberant all the way home. Absolutely fantastic and a definate recomendation for the venue and the show.

The dancing was amazing. The amount of people ruining the experience by being on their phone was unbelievably distracting. Towards the end someone from the theater did come around to stop people. Too late. The theater needs to make an announcement multiple times about no recording and phones. Then have staff to enforce it.
