We’re expecting very hot weather, but it was overcast and yet warm. Had a pleasant tour, was a busy one with equal numbers in English and French speakers. My sister has difficulty hearing so she found it hard to keep up. However that said it was good to get a potted history of a chunk of Bordeaux. Thank you

Veronique!! Amazing local guide. Born and living in Bordeaux, she literally knows from where each pebble comes from. She is amazing and made the tour 10x better. 2 hours passed as if it were 2 minutes. If you’re staying for several days, I suggest you get lost in the city the first 1 or 2 days so you are familiar with the streets, monuments and squares, and then do this tour as it deep dives into the history of every inch in the city.

Very good visit with a super very competent guide but perhaps a little short because we did not have time to see everything. One thing I didn't like was that the tour was in French and English. What gymnastics for the guide who does it really well but I think that if the visit had been in French she would have told us more. Avoid proposing in 2 languages and make more visits in French.
