    Enjoy a tour of the permanent collection at La Cité du Vin, covering 19 exhibits on the theme of wine. Skip the line to enter, and then spend around 3 hours making your way through the exhibits with the aid of a hand-held companion, a digital guide available in 8 languages. At the end of the tour, head to the 8th floor and its belvedere, where you'll have a 360-degree, panoramic view of Bordeaux and the surrounding area. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine at a tasting session, choosing from a regularly renewed selection of 20 world wines. After your visit you can browse the on-site boutique, and visit the wine cellar with a vast international selection, the restaurants (with one on the 7th floor offering a panoramic view) and also the reading room.

    Our e tickets were easy and the museum is super clean, innovative, and makes it fun to learn.

    We’ve just come back from the tour and picnic which we really enjoyed and would recommend. The tour is around an hour and a good introduction for beginners. The wine tasting and picnic were great. The guide spoke good English and was very helpful. The facilities were very clean as well.

    Departing from a central location in Bordeaux, this small group, half-day tour explores the beautiful Medoc wine-growing region of France. The region you will explore includes the southern region of the Medoc wine area. You will visit 2 wine estates of Classified Growth or Cru Bourgeois estates that has been carefully selected for their exceptional setting and quality of wine. Learn all there is to know about the history of the estate, the wine making process, as well as the techniques used during wine making. A wine tasting session follows the visits. After your tasting session, follow the castle road to see some of the most famous chateaus of the region, such as Chateau Margaux or Chateau Palmer.

    This was a fantastic tour - the highlight of our Bordeaux Trip and in my eyes a must do to appreciate all the vines you‘ll be drinking while on holiday here in France! We went with Luigi - a fantastic guide who is also a sommelier!

We had a wonderful, guided tour at Chateau Haut Breton. The guide Florentine was very competent, inspiring and willing to answer all our strange questions with an interested and open mind. Not to forget excellent languages skills. We enjoyed every minute.

This was a very memorable tour… I had a fantastic day celebrating my bday. The host was very knowledgeable about the history of the chateau and wines. I would definitely visit this chateau again
