It was short and sweet. One hour is just enough time--not too short, not too long. The cruise hit all of the typical historical sites. Narration was very good. Alcoholic drinks were available, but as to be expected, very expensive. I recommend getting into line as early as possible. That way you can secure the best seats at the very top of the boat. But on a sunny and warm day, the heat can be too much. You can equally enjoy all of the sighs from lower down in the shaded areas of the ship.

It’s only an hour cruise but they do a very good job of providing commentary on the Boston skyline and the effort to expand the land over the centuries. Probably a two hour tour is more beneficial but if you only have one hour this is a good cruise to take.

This was such a fun tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area as he is a longtime resident and has even worked as a park ranger for Acadia :) We really enjoyed the tour and recommended it to our friends who also had a blast. Highly recommend adding this to any MDI itinerary!
