Planning Your Visit

  • How to get there?

The Burj Al Arab is located on an artificial island across a private bridge. The easiest and most affordable way to reach it is by taxi, but if you're feeling flash, call the hotel to book a Rolls Royce or helicopter pick-up!

  • How to get in?

Unfortunately, it's not as easy as just showing up at the hotel and gawking. You won't even make it to the lobby without proof of a reservation (if not a room, then at least a restaurant meal or the hotel's famous afternoon tea). Access is also granted as part of some guided tours.

  • How much is it a night?

Of course, not every room is as expensive as the Royal Suite, but even the cheapest rooms will cost you at least $1,800!

Good to know

  • When should I visit?
    24 hours a day
  • Is it expensive?
It's an astounding building from the outside, but it costs quite a bit to get in - best to check out the range of tours available.
  • Will I need a guide?
Not necessarily, but your visit needs to be booked in advance.
  • How to get there
The hotel sits on a little island off mainland Dubai. The nearest metro stop is Mall of the Emirates, then walk across the bridge. However, it is more direct to get a taxi.
  • Additional information

    • Dress nicely - this is one of the world's fanciest hotels. | You can only enter the Burj as a visitor (as opposed to a guest) if you have a reservation in a restaurant. There are a selection of packages offering this.

Cool action in front of a fantastic backdrop! After a slow stroll through the marina, it really comes off after leaving it. Photo stops are made at the hot spots. The crew is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Really fun and really fast. I recommend buying some goggles so you can see because the wind make it hard to see of you aren’t wearing glasses or goggles.

Very nice tour with very nice guides! Well organised! Sitting in the first row is great fun!

Really good (relatively short but sweet) drive around The Palm, with some adrenaline kick

Great experience and fun activity. You can see the whole of Dubai Marina
