I thought the BBQ was excellent! The Oyster house just so so and the Well Hung place was just so so also. I liked the cookie place. The pink slipper place was not that good and since it was dessert should have gone last and not in the middle of the tour. I thought it was a little over priced for the food that we got. I felt not enough history was told( but our guide was very nice and told us a few interesting facts. I also felt that maybe we could have had more food depicting Charleston.

This food tour was very a great experience and fun. Amy, our tour guide, was very personable and very informative about the food, restaurants and history. The chicken wings.and coleslaw at the Smoky Barbecue on King Street was unbelievably delicious - Roland the Co-owner, gave us us great tips on cooking! I wish he would open up restaurant in DC area.

We loved the Food, History, and our guide Andrew!

We weren't sure what to expect when we signed up for this food tour, but boy were we surprised. Each of the food venues (Smoke BBQ, Virginia's on King, and Sixty Bull Café) were excellent and we enjoyed the best food of Charleston including smoked chicken wings, She Crab Soup, Pimento Cheese Spread, Flounder Po Boy Sandwich and Shrimp and Grits. Our Guide Andrew was knowledgeable, shared an abundance of the history of Charleston and guided us through many historic sites in Harleston Neighborhood, the College of Charleston, and sites on King Street. One of the best tours we have had in our travels in the US and Europe.
