We had a great trip and would recommend it! Unlike some reviews I saw of another tour operator: 2 important things were different on this one with Spirit. The captain was not our guide/historian/narrator and the top deck was covered and was not set up with round tables as if it were a dinner cruise.

We were CANCELLED out of a competitors tour boat. We booked this as a last minute affair. We were very pleased to find the best choice was made for us. RB-1, as we called her was clean, well shaded and roomy. I was able to move around for great photos. The crew were smart and professional. Our guide was ex-military and very versed in the historical and military importance of Charleston and the harbor. Drinks, snacks and service were all reasonable. We did pass our intended first choice tour boat as we went around. On a sunny 93 degree day it was clear that we made the right choice.

It was a little difficult to find the meeting area, but a call to number provided helped us to the location. (A sign on the street would improve this problem). The crew was friendly and were excellent helping me onto boat, as I walk with a cane. The ride was comfortable in air conditioning on 1st level. Enjoyable and informative tour guide with interesting historical stories. I wish it could have sailed closer to shore in order to see the battery and rainbow row area better.
