What an amazing experience! We’d normally never walk with a guide but had to for this one as we wanted to go as high as possible and I can safely say, it has changed my mind on guided hikes. Our guide, ‘Cisco’ was unbelievably knowledgeable and could probably speak better English than I can. He was fun and engaging, emanated passion and was full of energy. We saw things that we wouldn’t have known were there such as tunnels, photo opportunities, hidden snow and we learnt a great deal. We went towards the end of October and needed long trousers and a warmer layer. Thoroughly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant trip with a knowledgeable guide who, due to conditions being safer than expected, changed the plan and took us right to the top. Wonderful views of the craters and lava fields, sulphur deposits and blowing vents. Quite a strenuous day.....we do a lot of mountain walking so were fine, but be warned, it's not a walk in the park!

Had a lovely trip! We were picked up in Central Taormina and stopped on the way at a wonderful viewpoint. Very knowledgeable guide who showed us around a cave and many other places on our way up to Etna. Then we walked around on the volcano and saw huge craters and old lava flows. It was wonderful! :)

Tour guide Eduardo was absolutely excellent very informative and amusing too, managed to conduct the tour in Italian, French and English extremely well, really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

It’s a must on to do list if you visiting Sicily. Shame we couldn’t climb any higher, but overall good experience
