my desert safari experience was fantastic and the driver, Abbass was really confident and wonderful. And he takes the most amazing photos in the desert like a pro. Infact, he won my heart with those photos. It was really fun and value for money. The picnic basket was delicious. I recommend this safari package.

The tour overall was very good. We were picked up early and drove into the desert in a small (5 person) group. First we went to a camp where we rode the camels. Then you could optionally go quad (150 Durham for 30 minutes). Afterwards we went dune bashing in the desert. The trip was carried out in a parade and was good. Then one of the dunes was stopped to take pictures. The group leader took photos with us and then went to sandboarding. In the meantime there was water and juice. The brunch ended up being served in a restaurant on Jumeirah Beach. The tour was good in terms of time and is generally recommended.

I didn't want to do the Quad-biking, but I am glad Nasir, our guide, convinced me to give it a go. It was so much fun! although it took me a while to get a hang of it. Mind you it costs AED 158 extra for the Quad-bike. I didn't bother riding the camels. Nasir, our guide, was very professional. When we went dune bashing, he kept asking everyone in the car if we were OK a few times, because it can get nauseous driving up and down the sand dunes. So don't have a heavy breakfast! We stopped to sandboard and that was heaps of fun. Nasir is a chill guy and I really enjoyed the tour with him. One thing I would skip is the brunch at Dubai Marina. Don't get me wrong, the "picnic basket" - Middle Eastern kebab wrap with hummus, salad was delicious & substantial; it also came with a banana and a drink. However, Dubai Marina was not my scene - too commercial - I couldnt wait too get back to Dubai Creek where I felt was more beautiful. But if u like shopping, then this is a good last stop.
