Full description

Take a guided whisky tour and learn the story of Scotland’s most famous product. Visit the Diageo Claive Vidiz Scotch Whisky Collection, which is the world’s largest collection of Scotch whisky, with almost 3,500 individual bottles. Begin the tour with the whisky barrel car ride, which takes guests through the production and maturation process of Scotch whisky. Then enjoy a sensory journey of Scotland, including an introduction to Scotch whisky aromas. Next, taste Scotch whisky and see the world’s largest collection of Scotch Whisky (guests under 18 years of age will be given Irn Bru, a Scottish soft drink). Take home your crystal tasting glass as a souvenir. When you select the Gold Tour option, after enjoying a full guided tour, you'll compare and contrast 4 regional single malts while relaxing in the McIntyre Gallery. Assisted by experienced guides, and provided with tasting notes, you'll be able to sip like a true connoisseur.

Very nice visit, very original. At first, a bit like Disneyland, but it's very pleasant. Very good explanations (even on audio guide in French, which is not always the case) and a very nice guide. A truly impressive collection of different whiskies. Small flat just for the Gold option (the whiskeys are excellent): the fact of not being seated in the armchairs but of having been installed in an impersonal room. Of course, this isn't a distillery tour, but it's a must-do attraction nonetheless if you're in Edinburgh.

A well-prepared tour with a short trip through the history of the origin of whisky. This tour is available in multiple languages as they are provided through an audio system. Everything is very well prepared and the whiskey collection that you see is very impressive. All in all a recommendable experience!

A very nice experience with a nice tour in an attraction in which an explanation is given about the production process. The tasting itself was also very nice and well done with the cards on which you could smell the aromas of the different whiskeys by scratching. Beautiful and definitely recommended. It is a pity that at the tasting only 1 whiskey could be tasted for that price, but it is nice that you get a glass afterwards as a souvenir.
