Was a beautiful day to be out on the water. The narrator was very informative. I was disappointed there were no seating on the outside open part of the boat. I did like that they stayed in front of the Statue of Liberty for quite a while for pictures and just enjoying the moment.

The trip was good - an hour as stated - and took us from near the Brooklyn Bridge around NYC and over to Ellis Island. Good views of the bridge(s), skyline and the Statue of Liberty. It was very hot that day so my daughter and I opted to stay in the boat (AC) and as long as you have a window seat (first-come, first-serve seating) the views are unobstructed and clear. The boat has a bar with soda, alcohol and snacks. Unable to hear the guide clearly on the speaker from inside, at least on the first floor where we were.

What we saw on this trip was great - we got close to the Statue of Liberty and had plenty of photo opportunities which was our main priority. Plus learnt more about the buildings we could see from the water - so value for money for an hour's trip was great. However the commentary started after we departed so we'd already passed the sights being spoken about which was a bit confusing. Also, the Pier for departure wasn't very easily accessible and there was nothing around it. We arrived about an hour before departure expecting to grab a drink but there was nothing at all to do so the children did get a bit bored - and no one to ask any information.
