Full description
Your day begins early in the morning with a tour of Pisa, where you will admire the stunning Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Monumental Cemetery. Take photographs next to the celebrated Leaning Tower. Continue to a winery in the foothills of San Gimignano, where you will enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch with wine tasting. After lunch, explore one of the most famous medieval hilltop villages in Italy, San Gimignano. Discover the maze of cobbled streets, picturesque piazzas, and local artisan shops. Next, admire a panoramic view of the Chianti countryside, followed by a stop in Siena. Here, a specialist guide will lead you on a walk through the city's historical center. Skip the ticket line to see the interior of the magnificent cathedral, and pass through the shell–shaped Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse race is held twice a year. You will then return to Florence.

This tour was a fantastic little taste of what Tuscany has to offer, enough to whet your appetite and get the brain machinating to return in the future for a longer stay. We had Constantino as our tour guide (and Roberto as our driver), and he was funny and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about the places we visited. Would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to catch a quick glimpse of these wonderful locations, and have the experience of learning about wine from an expert.

Such a great tour! The bus was driven by Luka. The bus was so comfortable with nice seat, lots of room, and nice and warm. Our tour was led by Serena. She is such a sweetheart. She gave us some history and background of each town, her recommendations on where we should go in each town, and help us purchase tickets and/or answer any questions we have. She’s the best!! Lunch at the winery was BOMB! Highly recommend this day trip with this company for everyone!

If you're staying in Florence for a couple days, and don't have your own transportation, this is definitely a nice tour to do. Unfortunately there's not a lot of time to explore the sites (~40-60 minutes), so if you want to explore these towns on your own pace, you're probably better off driving there by yourself or a dedicated tour. But you're missing out on the wine tasting then, which was great fun. Elizabeta was very friendly and fun, and the guide in Siena very knowledgeable, both with decent English.
