Full description
Italy is known the world over for its food; fine wines, pizza, organic olive oil and of course pasta. The perfect companion to your vacation in Florence is an Italian cooking class where you will learn the secrets of creating fresh Italian pasta dishes from scratch in traditional surroundings.  The class is held three times a week in the Florentine city center and lasts around three hours. Your culinary adventure will be guided by a professional chef who will take you through each step of the process. You'll also create delicious sauces (vegetarian options available) and a dessert to enjoy alongside your fresh pasta when you all eat together at the end of the class. Wine is also provided to round out a wonderful Italian evening.

This was a great class! More people than expected but they split us into smaller groups. Francesco was lovely and made us feel comfortable, and explained everything really well. We made 2 different types of pasta and gnocchi, and made the sauces and pudding too! We then got to eat a bit of all of it which was really nice. The chefs even made a vegetarian version for a couple in our group. I definitely feel confident to make homemade pasta now and can’t wait to repeat the recipes!

Superb experience! We were 2 adults and 3 teenagers (12, 14 and 15 years old). The recipes and explanations were perfect. Francesco made us feel comfortable. He ensures that everyone pitches in without ever getting in trouble. His good humor is communicative. While with Getyourguide the course was planned in English, he gave us the course in French! Even if the course is for 18 people, we are divided into 4 small groups on the work plans and there are 2 leaders to do the course. We feel good and we quickly forget the others. In addition, we enjoyed ourselves and we are motivated to redo the ravioli, the gnocchi and the fettuccini à la Norma, without forgetting the Panna cotta, on our return. Thank you for the recipe booklet (in French!) Our three teenagers were delighted. It was their favorite moment of the vacation.

Great instruction and friendly group, cooked all vegetarian options, so if you want a meat dish just be aware of that. The food was delicious. Quite a large group as well (appx 20 people) so didn’t get to be as hands on in every recipe as I would have liked.
