Full description

Discover the rugged beauty of Ireland's western coastline, including the Cliffs of Moher, on a guided day trip from Galway. See historic Dunguaire Castle, admire views of the Aran Islands, and visit the coastal village of Doolin, where you can take an optional cruise to the base of the Cliffs.

Start with pickup from the center of Galway and travel first to Dunguaire Castle, located on the outskirts of Kinvara. Take some photos at one of the most photographed castles in Ireland, before heading through the limestone karst landscape of the Burren.

Follow the Wild Atlantic Way along the coast of County Clare, passing Black Head towards Fanore Strand. From here, admire the sight of the Aran Islands in Galway Bay and, in the distance, the mountains of Connemara.

Arrive at the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's top natural landmarks rising 700 feet out of the Atlantic Ocean. Be amazed by the stunning panoramic views, listen to the crashing of the waves below and the calls of seabirds above as you gaze out over the ocean.

After 2 hours at the Cliffs, hop back on the bus and set off on the journey back to Galway. Pass through the town of Lisdoonvarna, famous for its annual matchmaking festival each September.

Make a stop in the charming village of Doolin, feel the Atlantic breeze on your face and see the waves crashing on the pier. You can also take an optional cruise to the base of the Cliffs.

Locals will tell you that being by the sea works up a ferocious appetite, so take some time to enjoy a hearty Irish lunch at Doolin Hotel. Try one of their local seafood dishes, with freshly caught produce. With your belly full, relax on the scenic journey back to Galway.

We had multiple stops in which we could enjoy small villages, coffee, food. The tour guide was really entertaining the whole way of the trip so it was pleasant journey. When we got to the cliffs we had plenty of time to explore and look at the stunning views before we returned. Overall excellent trip :)

I was fresh off another tour in Dublin so I couldn't help but compare the two. The driver here didn't do much in terms of guiding, bar the occasional anecdote and joke here and there, he focused mainly on the road. The trip falls short in that aspect. The sights however were magnificent, the cliffs are an absolute must and I'm happy I booked this tour. Next time I'll come back with more time to do the full walk (you have 2h per this tour)

Had a great day at the cliffs. Tour guide was friendly. Bus was a mini bus. Bus was spotless. I'm tall so not much leg room. Sights were nice and we got some lovely pics. When we arrived at the cliffs it was covered it mist/fog. It was a hot day but thankfully 10 mins before we had to get back on the bus we got to see the cliffs and get photos. Lovely gift shops available and also a tourist area inside and toilets.
