Planning Your Visit
Getting Around
The best way to explore Glasgow is on foot. You'd be hard-pressed to get lost in the grid-like system of its streets, so our advice is to grab a map and set out sightseeing. Traffic and parking can be difficult in the city center, so if you'd prefer to travel at a faster pace, then the bus and subway network is cheap, easy, and reaches all the main sights. You can even grab a bus tour to get your bearings at the start of your trip.
How many days should you stay?
A long weekend in Glasgow would give you enough time to sample the city's highlights. But you're sure to fall in love with the vibrant life of its streets, so if you've got the time, why not have a longer stay? There's fabulous shopping, plenty of culture, and a beautiful coastline a short drive away.

What people are saying about Glasgow
This was really fascinating a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable experience, good exercise and a great way to see the city and its architecture. But what really made this tour memorable for all the positive responses was the tour guide Karen. Karen is a truly passionate and enthusiastic individuals. Her positivism and passion for the service she was delivering to us her customers was absolutely engaging and energising. I started this tour with low energy and a stagnant mood and came away feeling energised, inspired, happy and as if I had really learned new things about street artists and the city, for me it just wasn't long enough I could have spent a whole day listening to Karen. Karen was extremely professional to the highest level but added her own style in appropriate antidotes and humours that really lifted the mood and gave us all a right good and much needed laugh. I hope her employers appreciate her as much as we did, a pure diamond at her craft.
This was a really great tour! Really well organised, especially with the Covid regulations! It was a really easy and chilled experience and we got to visit some amazing places! Great for a solo traveller as well, this was my first solo experience and now I can’t wait to do more! The driver guide Callum was great as well! I couldn’t fault the trip! If you’re thinking about booking in the future, don’t second guess it, just go for it! You won’t regret it! :)
I really enjoyed my day. The mini bus was comfortable, the scenery great except that the weather was wet with poor visibility....nobody's fault. Our guide was friendly & very knowledgeable...made the journey interesting with her jokes. I would prefer to have at least an hour for lunch & an hour for Tea break because these breaks include queuing for the toilets so anything less than an hour makes it too tight
I had a wonderful day, all thanks to our guide Ben who knows everything about UK history and his way of telling all these stories makes them worth listening. His sense of humour made me laugh more than couple of times. And all the lochs were beautiful, overall it is worth to spend a day visiting loch ness and Glencoe :)
It was an amazing experience at Highland lochs and Castle tour. We saw a lot of beautiful places!! I will recommended to all (families, couples & friends!) The guide was very friendly and talkative, explaining to us al lot of useful historical things.
