  • From Reykjavik: Golden Circle and Glacier Snowmobiling

    1. From Reykjavik: Golden Circle and Glacier Snowmobiling

Board the bus at the BSI Bus Terminal and drive off to experience the different geothermal landscapes of Iceland's legendary Golden Circle. Stop at Þingvellir National Park, known for its exceptional beauty and historical importance as the site of the world's first parliaments. Continue into the hot springs area of Geysir, before driving to Langjökull to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure activity! Take control of a snowmobile – or travel as a passenger – to explore the vast white ice cap of Langjökull for an hour. Make your way back to Reykjavík via the spectacular Gullfoss Waterfall and gaze in wonder as the Hvítá River thunders into a 32-meter deep canyon.

It was a great trip but I think the time traveling should be explained in the brief as this is quite a lot of the time out....also the actual time you get on the snowmobile was very misleading. We had half that time and the experience was very disappointing. It should explain that you literally go up and around in a circle following everyone which was very un impressive and not worthy at all of the cost of this. Next time I would probably not bother doing the snow mobiling as I felt it wasn’t a true experience of what it was Described as.

  • Inside the Thrihnukagigur Volcano: Day Trip from Reykjavik

    3. Inside the Thrihnukagigur Volcano: Day Trip from Reykjavik

Enjoy a hiking tour towards the dormant Thrihnukagigur Volcano. After your transfer and drop-off at the Bláfjöll mountain cabin, walk to Thrihnukagigur Volcano, a moderate hike of approximately 45-50 minutes, enjoying the breathtaking lava scenery en route. The hike is classified as moderately difficulty, with straight walks and limited elevations. But the surface is hilly and uneven. Upon arrival at the crater, descend 400 feet (120 meters) inside the volcano, and experience an extraordinary natural phenomenon. You will be informed about all safety procedures and how to behave inside the volcano, wearing a helmet and harness at all times. Each group is split into a smaller party of 4-5 people for safety and intimacy. After a slow 10-minute descent, to ensure the safety of passengers and provide ample opportunities to experience the amazing views, spend up to an hour inside the volcan...

Inside the vulcano was beautiful and very special! The colors are amazing!! I really liked it! It was very nice. The hike to the vulcano was long and extremely cold because of the weather. When we arrived there was no time too warm up. We had to go in a hurry inside the vulcano and when we were inside we had only 25 minutes to enjoy the surrounding. For me this was too much in a hurry and too short for the value of money. But despite all that the experience was really amazing!

  • From Reykjavík: Golden Circle with Snorkel in Silfra

    4. From Reykjavík: Golden Circle with Snorkel in Silfra

Experience the different geothermal landscapes of Iceland's legendary Golden Circle on a small group tour from Reykjavik. Listen to Icelandic music as you travel by minibus to Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart. Gaze in awe as you get a clear view of this massive geological activity. Watch the water melt from Iceland's second biggest glacier as you make your way to Gullfoss Waterfall. Marvel as hot spring water erupts from the earth in the geothermal area of Geysir. Then, snorkel in the extraordinary Silfra rift, considered one of the top dive sites in the world. Glide between tectonic plates floating on pure, filtered glacial meltwater.

We had two guides, Hallur and Ronan. It was because of them that this trip was so enjoyable! The waterfall was majestic and extremely windy. The geysir was tiny but still worth a visit. Then Hallur brought us for some delicious ice cream. It shocks the body to enjoy ice in the cold but the texture was just too good to put down the ice cream. Then, we went snorkelling with Ronan. Right off the bat, he was friendly and most kind. He got to know each one of us personally. He was a diver in the navy so you can rest assured that you're in safe hands! Ronan made the snorkelling experience like a party. We had so much fun. The waters were clear and mesmerizing. And the hot chocolate that comes after was the best thing ever. I was nervous about the cold before, but the cold didn't cross my mind at all while snorkelling. It was an awesome experience. Ronan was amazing too, as he always went out if his way to help us. Amazing trip overall! Highly recommended! The guides should get a raise too ;P

Absolutely outstanding throughout! We had a fantastic day out in the “superjeep” the journey alone in this monster was an adventure in itself and blew our minds with its abilities, with big thanks to the “viking” driver Einar, he was not only a highly experienced driver but constantly fed us useful information, facts and tales about iceland. The entire trip was brill start to finish and dont want to ruin the surprises to the trip but i would happily of paid to do this experience again and in my opinion was far too cheap fir the service provided, the finale being the snowmobiling at the end on the glaciers, omg wow! photos that will last a lifetime In my memories and will be printing them for a canvas photograph in my home.a fantastic guide called ollie who was a great laugh and kept everyone happy. I sincerely thank the whole team for this experience, you made our holiday, and lifetime memories, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! you will not be disappointed thank you so much, pete and Christianne
