You'll visit Thingvellir National Park where you can stand with one foot in Europe and one in America, and see Gullfoss, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. Marvel at the Geysir Srokkur as it erupts every 5-10 minutes, and discover the Mars-like landscape of Kerið, a magical crater lake of brilliant blue-green water surrounded by bright red soil. You'll spend the night in Hveragerði Village. You'll start day two of your tour by visiting the two great waterfalls of the south coast, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, as well as the lesser-known waterfall of Glufrabui. 3. 2 Day South Coast Tour with Glacier Hike & Boat Tour

Begin by visiting the two great waterfalls of the south coast, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, as well as visiting the lesser known, more secret waterfall of Glufrabui. You will stop so that you can buy lunch. Drive under the great Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano and the Mýrdalsjökull glacier cap, where you will take a glacier hike for about 1.5 hours and have a closer look at the Solheimajokull glacier. A bit further is the great Reynisfjara beach, where the sea crashes upon black sands and hexagonal basalt columns and rock stacks tower over the surroundings.  After overnighting in an Icelandic countryside accommodation, take a closer look at majestic glaciers and lagoons. Christina provided me and my family with one of the best days of our lives. I kid you not! She changed the order of attractions to maximize the lighting on the beautiful waterfalls of seljalandsfoss and gljuifrabul. She expertly dressed and led us on solheimajokull glacier hike, teaching us so many interesting facts like how dangerous a moulin waterfall can be. It looked like a serene course of water going down a hole in the ice, little did we know this hole plunged the entire depth of the glacier, a bottomless pit. Christina showed us so many extras, beautiful Vik with its amazing off shore rock formations, nesting sites of cute little puffins, Eyjafjallajokull volcano site whose eruption back in 2010 disrupted European air travel. It was a long glorious 12 hour day full of wonders and surprises thanks to Christina.

The South Coast tour was the most enjoyable and beautiful experience of my 10-day trip to Iceland! And among all the tours I've been on, CHRISTINA is the best tour guide I've ever had! Christina kept a positive, enthusiastic attitude throughout the two days of the trip and brought positive energy to those around her. Very good at creating a lively atmosphere for everyone. Christina has great photo ideas and skills. I got so many awesome photos!! Also I really appreciate Christina's taste in music. I don't know how she found so much good music to suit the occasion perfectly. She also gave us a lot of useful advice and introduced a lot of history and stories about Iceland. An unforgettable experience!! I look forward to coming back to Iceland soon!
