2. Koh Samui: Private Tour with Jet Skiing and Sunset Dinner

Start your tour around mid-afternoon with pickup from your accommodation and quick stops at two of Koh Samui’s famous temples. The first stop is the Big Buddha temple, aptly named for a 12-meter tall golden statue of a serene-looking Buddha. Climb to the top of the staircase and see the imposing statue up close in all its grandeur. Known for its colorful designs and mix of Chinese and Thai architecture, Wat Plai Laem’s most eye-catching feature is the huge statue of the 18-arm Guanyin, believed to be the goddess of mercy and compassion. Explore the colorful grounds and spot another large statue of a laughing monk before starting your jet ski adventure. Following a briefing from your instructor, board your jet ski and ride the waves, making the rounds of some of the island’s best beaches. After a thrilling ride, make your way to the popular Fisherman’s Village for a spot of shopping. Walk by the numerous stalls and kiosks as you take in the products on display. Wrap up the day with a delicious local dinner at the beach as you watch the sun go down at the end of an amazing day.

Koh Samui: Football Golf & Botanical Gardens

3. Koh Samui: Football Golf & Botanical Gardens

Kick your football into each of the 18 holes at this unique tropical course and you’ll soon be wanting to tell everyone about this great new game. The whole course is well shaded among the palm trees so you can stop and enjoy the garden scenery as you play too.  The activity starts with pickup at your hotel reception. From there, you will go directly to the course privately with no other groups. The course is located 5 minutes from the Big Buddha and 10 minutes along the beach road from the main resort town of Chaweng meaning the transfer time is short and usually under 15 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the friendly team and they will provide you with a scorecard and the footballs. Then you’re away playing holes 1 to 11 first. Each hole is like a beautifully landscaped private garden so you won’t be disturbed by others while you play. After hole 11, take a break at reception with a free soft drink, a homemade traditional coconut snack, and some cool towels to help you refresh. After your break, finish the rest of the course from holes 12 to 18. Once the 18 holes are complete, you will get a prize and a podium photo then it’s back to your hotel. Alternatively, your driver will gladly drop you at the nearby Big Buddha or Blai Leam temples if they are also on your sightseeing agenda for the day.
