Begin with a short classroom session where your PADI certified instructor will help you suit up and brief you on your upcoming journey. Learn how to breathe through a regulator, manage your buoyancy, and safely swim underwater with all the necessary equipment. Soon you'll be ready for an ocean dive with your instructor at one of Maui's tropical beaches. Once in the calm clear island waters, take in the magnificent surroundings filled with tropical reef fish, turtles, and rays. This family-friendly kayaking tour is great for children 5 years old and up. On this group kayaking tour, you will kayak roughly 2.5 miles (4km) through the Ukumehame Coastline. Along the way, you will have opportunities to stop and snorkel with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle and tropical fish. It is also very common to see manta rays and dolphins, as well as the Hawaiian monk seal. During whale season (October through April) you will have the opportunity to see Humpback whales during their annual migration to the Islands to mate and give birth. This tour sets out twice a day, once at 7:15am and again at 10:30am. The early morning tour offers calmer waters and are perfect for beginner kayakers. All kayaking and snorkel gear are provided on this tour, along with light snacks and beverages. All you need to bring is your swimsuit, a towel, and sunscreen.

Departing from historic Lahaina Harbor, your adventure begins aboard Ocean Spirit, a 65-foot luxury sailing catamaran. Relax and enjoy the sights and the sun while eating a continental breakfast of coffee, pastries, and fruit platters as we cruise up the beautiful Ka'anapali coastline to the breathtaking beauty of Honolua Bay.  Honolua Bay is protected as a marine conservation area and is one of Maui’s most scenic snorkel spots. After a safety briefing, snorkeling instruction, and fish identification session, you'll be able to enjoy the marine environment. Premium snorkel gear, including optical masks for glasses wearers, is provided, as well as flotation devices. Children can participate in the Jr. Naturalist program, and you'll get a glossy marine wildlife photo card to take home. During the workshop, learn how to be a citizen scientist and contribute to research that protects the oceans and their flourishing ecosystems. Before you know it, you'll be ready to gear up and take off to your dive spot for a fascinating offshore eco-dive. Develop concrete skills for protecting the marine environment during your dives while receiving insights on improving your buoyancy, and much more. Benefit from a small-group adventure with no more than 4 divers per instructor. After your dive, you'll have the opportunity to debrief about all the marine wildlife and abundant coral reefs you observed while exploring the crystal clear blue waters of Maui.

After making your way to the meeting point, climb aboard an eco-friendly dive boat and prepare for an awe-inspiring two-tank dive with experienced dive instructors who are trained biologists and ecologists. Explore the depths of Maui's tropical reefs on night dive led by a certified instructor and see the wonders of the sea in a different light. You'll be able to spot unique underwater creatures in this darkened underwater setting. With your small group, you will suit up with all of the necessary gear for your experience provided.  When you reach your dive spot, you start in the shallow water near your vessel then gradually descend to depths. There, you'll be surrounded by nocturnal sea life. Discover how tropical reefs look at night and be captivated by the reefs, teeming with unique sea creatures.  Use dive lights to shine beams on unique creatures such as colorful fluttering nudibranchs, foraging lobsters and crabs, and eels on the hunt for something to eat. You might even catch a glimpse of a majestic octopus or a squid.   Emerge from the dive under moonlight and stars and climb aboard your boat. On the journey back to shore, your instructor will share interesting facts and insights about the dive and the organisms you saw.
