Full description

Leave bustling Las Vegas and head out on a scenic drive into Navajo territory on a van tour. Explore this striking landscape with the help of a local Navajo guide, learning about the area's rich and long history. See iconic natural landmarks like Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon.

Begin your tour with a stop for breakfast in St. George, Utah—home to the oldest continuously operating Mormon temple in the world.

After breakfast, approach the mighty Colorado River for a visit to Horseshoe Bend. Note where the river flows and meanders around the rocks creating a distinctive horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world.

Next, travel to where “the water runs through the rocks” as per the local Navajo folklore. Explore lower Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water, and sand.

With your local Navajo guide, discover the beauty of the canyon up close. Admire the beauty of the sun which creates shafts of light that shine through the slits in the canyon walls.

After a break for lunch, continue to the Glenn Canyon viewpoint for one last look at this spectacular area. Finally, hop back on the bus to return to Las Vegas in the evening.

Be prepared for a long ride and intense sun depending on when you go. Stock up on snacks to save money. I didn't have time, luckily there are lots of stops along the way to replenish yourself whether you need a meal or bathroom break. If you had your heart set on a specific part of canyon, be prepared for that to not happen. However, you won't be disappointed with the places that is accessible to you. I had that issue because of torrential rain in the area, I was lucky my tour happened at all and I was not disappointed. Overall, the experience is so worth it. Would I do this again? Absolutely!

Sights were great. Guide had great experience, knowledge, great timing and control but kept emphasizing to give tip and was not too friendly. Group was too large almost 40 people. Bus clean and comfortable but A/C didn't work well on return trip maybe because it was too hot 44 deg Celcius

This tour was great! It's as advertised. The only thing is that there is a pick-up location at Treasure Island as well as at Luxor. Also, the tour group that we went with is called Empire Vacations. The tour guide and driver were great. The only drawback was some of the others on the tour bus not following directions and not showing up on time. We toured lower antelope canyon tour which was great and went to horseshoe bend. It was super hot and my parents (70 and 71) who wanted to go struggled a little. They aren't in the best of shape (walk 30 minutes a few times a week) but made it through the entire tour. It was really the heat that made it hard for them. It was hot (110 degrees?) walking from the start of horseshoe bend to the viewpoint, but there are two sections with shade to rest. Bring an umbrella or some time of covering to block the sun! It was scorching! Lastly, the bus seemed to run out of AC the last 2-3 hours of the trip? It was still cooler than outside, but still warm
