Full description
Depart Las Vegas in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast snack on the way to Grand Canyon West. Stop along the famous Route 66. Upon arrival, ride the shuttle to Eagle Point, where the Skywalk and gift shop are located. Get an incredible view of the eagle-shaped rock formation and walk right up to the edge of the canyon. See some of the dwellings that the Native American tribes lived in olden times. Then, experience the most spectacular views from the Skywalk. This glass-framed overlook sits 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon and boasts a 10-foot-wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge peering over the West Rim of the canyon. Feel like you’re floating on air with this view. Next, go to Guano Point at the site of an old guano mine. Enjoy views that are completely unique to the ones at Eagle Point. Walk along the dirt trail at the edge at Guano Point for spectacular views from different angles. Return to the Welcome Center before heading back to Las Vegas. Watch videos on the bus to pass the time, or relax on the airline-style seats equipped with seat belts, and look out of the panoramic windows at the stunning views.

Gia who works for the Grand Canyon Destinations is an amazing tourist guide who’s not only very knowledgeable about what she does but also makes your trip fun. She would also find the best spots to take pictures of you and take them for you, in other words and overall she would make your experience attractive, dynamic, and entertaining. The only suggestion would be to let one knows that you are going to pay an extra fee if you want her to provide a tour once you get to the canyon. However, this isn’t a complaint because it was only a $20 payment and she made it worthy the cost.

Our tour guide Gia was excellent however the pick up place was changed. They only pick up from a few hotels and tell you the one they will pick you up from that’s closest to what you chose. I picked Planet Hollywood but they made me go to Ballis to get picked up. Make sure you eat breakfast before you go! The breakfast snack they give is just a cereal bar, there were several places that weren’t open yet when I was looking for a place to eat breakfast so just try to think of something ahead of time. We saw the Hoover dam for a brief second as we were driving on the road on the way back but it’s not really a photo stop. We went to eagle point and Guano point. You have the option to pay to walk on the sky bridge and the company gives you an optional tour guide section. Having the tour guide is extra and you have to pay for it. It was $20 a piece for it but she did an excellent job talking about everything and showing us different parts on the canyon.
