Overall our guide was excellent- very knowledgeable and with great stories that brought to life the facts of such masterpiece by Da Vinci. BUT, there was something that she mentioned not once, but twice that we consider shouldn’t be a comment by a tour guide. When talking about the destruction of the convent she said “who are the Americans here?” so we raised hands… “they destroyed the convent with a bomb. We were enemies but now we’re friends…” When others joined the group she said the same thing. History is a fact and nothing good happens in a war. What is her point is singling out the Americans in the group and making such comment “with an edge”? That is uncalled for and puts a dark spot in her otherwise excellent delivery.

The Last Supper is incredible, an almost emotional experience. 5/5 for the art. The guide was also very informative. However, a few things to note from my experience. - You might be doing a lot in Italy, compared to everywhere else we booked in multiple cities/towns, this place does NOT compromise on reqs. They really mean it with this booking. If you aren't EARLY, you won't get in. If you don't have matching ID, you don't get in. We even had to explain a few times that my wife and I had literally just got married and were on our honeymoon, hence why her name was different on her ID (this was with the museum itself). - Some poor woman had travelled all the way from Sweden to see TLS, they over-booked and cancelled her booking last minute. Really felt for her, and in my opinion, the guides tried to help but weren't very sympathetic. I understand it wasn't their fault but none of the group appreciated their attitude. - As amazing as it is, £40pp isn't great VFM. 10 minutes is your slot

Sara was amazing and very knowledgeable. This app though was not updating the direct time as it kept sending me incorrect information when Sara sent us a revised time. Many people in our group showed up at 9:45AM even though she sent us an email to change at 2:45PM. Even after I did the text in the app, it’s still did not send us the revised appt.
