An expedition to admire different scenarios of the paradise of Santo Amaro - Lençóis Maranhenses. Departure from Barreirinhas to Santo Amaro starts at 7:45 am and can go until approximately 8:45 am - deppending on the hotels locations. Upon arrival in Santo Amaro we will do a short trip on 4X4 car over the dunes, lasting approx. 10 to 15 minutes until we reach the first lagoons (Lagoa do Peixe, Lagoa da Andorinha and Lagoa da Gaivota - The lagoons visited may change according to the season). Around 1 pm we will stop for lunch (meal not included) and some rest before we continue our visit to the other lagoons (This circuit lasts the whole day and includes a pause fot susnset views acordding to the weather). This is a afternoon half day tour to Lençóis with sunset experience We start the hotel pick ups in Barreirinhas at approximately 2 pm and after everyone is embarked we'll drive for one hour until reaching our destination; the Bonita Lagoon tourist center There we´ll find a small village with local business such as hand made souvenir shops and family owned snack stands and also the site of the famous Bonita Lagoon staircase. At the top of the stairs you´ll be able too get a full view to the breathtaking beauty of the park! Then it will be time to explore the lagoons! Your guide will take you for a short walk around the area to visit 2 or 3 lagoons where you´ll have free time to swim (around 40 minutes in each lagoon) And after all that we´ll climb the highest dune of the region to enjoy the amazing Lençois sunset before heading back to the city *Please note that the pick up time is approximate.
