After leaving my son to uni I thought what can I do as I was on my own. So decided to do an open top bus as I had Never been to Liverpool before. Well as soon as I stepped on the bus I was greeted by the driver Ian (great driving only issue is some of the tree tops but I can't fault Ian's driving on that lol) once aboard Damien came up playing his guitar to greet us. Had a fantastic time even though I didn't know much about the Beatles ( I do now thanks to Damien's fantastic guide) you get to get off the bus at Penny Lane and Strawberry Field for a photo op (Damien's helps if u want to be in the photo) anyway being on my own I didn't know how I would feel but I came off that bus with a massive smile on my face and now no about the Beatles! Thanks Ian and Damien for a fantastic tour!

The tour was fantastic and the guides were enthusiastic and obviously had passion for their job. The criticism I have is that the tour wasn't being run as a "hop-on hop-off" because of Covid rules. However, I cannot see the logic in this as normal bus services were running around Liverpool allowing people (obviously) to get on and off buses?? The tour was therefore 1 1/2 hours long instead of being able to use this ticket for the full day as we understood when we first booked. I did not receive an e-mail informing me of this so found out on the day although it was apparently on the website. This was not the fault of the tour though. Would definitely recommend when the stupid rules are lifted.
