The hop on hop off feature was great however it wasn't made clear that you needed to reserve a timeslot to ride the London Eye. When we checked in to get our ticket for the bus they told us the Eye was sold out for the day which was pretty upsetting. The Big Bus concierge at the Westminister Bridge stop told us to check back at noon to see if anything had opened up. We did so and we were able to secure a slot...so kudos to him for his customer service! It just needs to be plainly spelled out that when you get your voucher you also need to make reservation for the Eye! In addition it would be good if the stops were clearly marked with the corresponding numbers on the Big Bus map as some were difficult to identify.

Everything is great. With the BigBus you see everything important in London, with explanations from the audio guide in the language you prefer. During a day you can go down and go up as many times as you want. From the cruise there are very good views and good photos. The explanation of the guide is in English. Book a time slot for the London Eye with the link they give you when you make the reservation, so you can have it before that day.

Trying to get your tickets was a nightmare. The location was changed, so we went to the location and no one was there!! We were told to go to another location by a representative for another company, which we did and finally managed to find someone! When you’ve never been to London and it’s a boiling hot day with two kids you don’t want to be tracking around London for tickets!!! Maybe an idea to send electronically to people emails!! When we finally spoke to a representative he went on to say London eye was fully booked, but we explained we booked!! In the end he scanned our tickets and realised we had booked but had a 5 mins panic!! If you book make sure you book your time slot straight away for London eye, as some people weren’t as lucky as us and didn’t get on! The actually activity London eye and the boat trip was amazing! We weren’t impressed with the bus trip at all, so wouldn’t waste your time with that! Everything is within walking distance from London eye.
