Full description

Explore several top highlights around London on this bus day trip from London. Experience the elegance of Windsor Castle, unlock the mysteries of Stonehenge, and admire the Georgian architecture in the city of Bath. Visit a well-preserved Roman Bathhouse.

Windsor Castle

Steeped in history, Windsor Castle perches proudly on a lush wooded hill overlooking the Thames. Dating back to Norman times, with sweeping landscaped gardens and turreted Round Tower, it’s easy to see why it’s the King’s favourite weekend residence royal Windsor. Enjoy a fascinating through–the–keyhole peek at the lavish State Apartments, home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, and visit St. George’s Chapel, the atmospheric final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII. You can visit Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, a truly incredible structure complete with working lifts, running water, electricity and wine bottles, all in miniature!

Mysterious Stonehenge

Wander around the world heritage site and be captivated by the unique rock formation. Situated on Salisbury Plain, 40-ton rocks stand alone since their arrival 5,000 years ago.

An abundance of theories surround Stonehenge; from a religious temple to an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground. Decide for yourself whilst discovering the history of this mysterious monument.

Bath

Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, Bath was the first city in England to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the gorgeous 15th-century Bath Abbey, the stunning Georgian architecture, and the romantic Pulteney Bridge.

Roman Baths

Famed for its Roman Baths, Bath houses the best preserved Roman Spa from the ancient world. Miraculously hidden from view until the 1870s, delve into the history of this magical monument and admire its architectural splendor.  Arrival time back in London is at approximately 8:00 PM.

We had a great time on this trip! Our guide Amanda was such a sweetheart and she kept an upbeat positive attitude the whole day. She kept us laughing throughout the drive. Our driver “K” was efficient and safe. We got to Windsor Castle nice and early, so we got a great spot in line. I felt like we had enough time to see everything we were interested in. Stonehenge was lovely - definitely packed with people, so be prepared for that. My advice is to keep walking past the huge crowd clumped at the front. You’ll get much better pictures without other people in them. Bath was probably my favorite part of the day - such a cute little town. The Roman Bath museum was amazing! Amanda was so nice and took our picture there for us. It was definitely a high note to end the day on. You will spend roughly 5-6 hours of the day in the coach, so come prepared with a pillow/headphones/things to keep you occupied.

Bruce is one of the best guides I have ever encountered in my years of travelling. We went on 17 Sept. He is very experienced and he is a very good guide, giving as much information all the time. You will be in good hands with this tour if you go with Bruce.

The trip was awesome. The guide named Anna (the Banana) was fantastic! She was very attentive, informative and engaging. She was really helpful with everyone’s queries. The only downside if there is was the time, it was a bit of a rush, but maybe coz the tour package needs to be completed. It was organised but the long queue especially in Windsor Castle was the thing that took most of the time. Overall it was still a great tour. I highly recommend it if it’s your first time in London.
