As much as this trip was not ideal on a wet and windy day, the organisers made it one to remember. Full waterproofs were provided, the talk was really interesting, and we even got a beer towards the end. Great value for money too. Would definitely book again but perhaps on a sunny day ☺️

Thrilling ride on river Thames

Initially, I had bought a ticket only for my daughter for the River Thames speedboat cruise. However, upon arriving at the meeting point on the pier, I met the two operators, and they persuaded my wife and me to join them. I am very glad I decided to do so. We started off with a slow ride through the busiest parts of the river, going eastwards. On the way we had some nice photo opportunities and the guides shared some history and insights on the way, until we reached the speedy part. That's where interesting stopped and fun began. We had a wonderful time seeding across the water until we reached the O2 arena and went back towards the pier. All along the guides were super friendly. They always made sure we were safe and comfortable, they helped us taking photos and answered any questions. The boat was top quality and felt very safe. All in all we had a blast and would gladly do it again.
