London: Tower of London Visit and Cruise in Spanish

2. London: Tower of London Visit and Cruise in Spanish

See the Tower of London, where the magnificent crown jewels are housed. Founded by William the Conqueror in the eleventh century and located on the north bank of the River Thames. This complex of stone buildings has been a palace, a prison, a zoo, a royal mint and the place of bloody public executions (two of King Henry VIII's wives were beheaded here and it is thought that their ghosts still wander the cobbled alley-ways of the Tower of London,  with their disembodied heads clasped under their arms!). We will explore the maze of streets and alleyways within London's historical heart and pass by the Bank of England, Mansion House and the Monument to the Great Fire of London, before reaching the River Thames, where we will pause to take-in the breathtaking Tower Bridge, London's most iconic bridge, which is uses a hydraulic system to open up in order to allow all vessels to sail beneath her. This tour will end with a short but marvelous cruise up the River Thames. This 30-minute journey will allow you view such monuments and sites as London Bridge, William Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Millennium Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, where we will disembark and where the tour will end.

Planning Your Visit

  • Temporary exhibitions

London Zoo has many temporary exhibitions and seasonal activities, so as well as the tips we've listed here, don't forget to check out the website to see what's on during your visit.

  • Sun protection

You'll be spending a lot of the day outside, so if it's sunny out - or even if the sun is just hiding behind a cloud - make sure you are adequately protected and drink lots of water.

  • Peaceful visit

If you prefer to have a quieter visit, try to go on a weekday afternoon - you'll have missed the morning rush and many would-be visitors will be at school or work.

  • Animals have feelings too

Last but not least, the zoo is home to these animals! Although you may think they are used to visitors, don't shriek at them or do anything else that might annoy them - if you have kids, make sure they're on their best behavior.

We were able to get admission quickly and easily with the QR code. We were able to save quite a few £ by purchasing the Go City Explorer Pass.

It is the most advantageous pass, and valid for a long time, unlike the London pass. We took 6 attractions, doable in 3 days.

The pass is great, the prices are cheaper. However, at some attractions you have to queue at the ticket office.

Excellent, you save time and money if you go to the fullest visiting what you like, super super recommended !!

Pass was too good interesting and adventurous. I enjoyed every place that I visited.
