Barcelona: Gothic Quarter and Flamenco Show

2. Barcelona: Gothic Quarter and Flamenco Show

Your evening tour begins at the steps of the Cathedral of Barcelona. Prepare to discover one of the most historic neighbourhoods in Barcelona: the Gothic Quarter, accompanied by a local guide. The evening light also provides it with a magical feeling that makes it even nicer than during the day. During the tour you will visit the most beautiful places in the Gothic Quarter, such as: Plaça del Rei surrounded by Gothic and Renaissance buildings, Plaça Sant Felip Neri, Plaça Sant Jaume, the seat of institutional and political power, among others. Undoubtedly those places will amaze you. Moreover, in the evening, this 2,000-year-old quarter is much quieter, and there are usually guitarists playing on every corner. Finally, after the tour, you will take a break at Los Tarantos, the oldest tablao in town. Whilst there, enjoy a live show as you feel the vibe of a genuine Flamenco performance while enjoying a drink included. Flamenco is one of those memories that you're bound to take home from your trip to Spain, and this is one of the most unique places in Barcelona to enjoy it. Listen to the zapateo, look at the colourful dresses, and hear the sweet notes of Spanish guitars.

This show was amazing! The guitar player, singer, and dancers were absolutely captivating. It was almost exactly 45 minutes, which was a great length of time to get a sense for the art form without becoming overwhelmed or spending an entire night here. The venue was intimate, and I really feel like I got to be close to the performers, even sitting near the back. Definitely recommend!

Amazing experience. Phenomenal performances. Worth every penny. Drinks from the bar were not expensive at all. One should defo go for it. We reached at 8:15 and got the seats comfortably. Enjoy
