Utilize the mode of transportation used most by locals and hop on a boat going down the Amazon. After pickup from your accommodation in Manaus, you’ll head down to the dock for your 36-hour journey to Santarém. Choose between options to stay on a hammock, or upgrade to a private, 2-person cabin with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Gaze out across the mighty Amazon as you float down the river during your voyage. Look out for unique flora and fauna. Once you arrive in Santarém, stay in town, or select transportation to Alter do Chão.

Very nice outing, we docked at several ports. For water lovers, I recommend, it's very soothing. Only downside, the boat left 2 hours late, this is apparently often the case but it's good to know. The room has the minimum, a double bed, a single bed on the mezzanine, a mini fridge to store your provisions, and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. There is also air conditioning. It was a good experience. Taxi from the hotel to the port included, with accompaniment to the boat, and taxi from the port of arrival to the hotel also included. I recommend.

The entire package was not adhered to. Transfer to the boat not registered, but ok. I didn't get a hammock there, I bought it myself and in Santarem I didn't pay a driver, but a taxi myself.
