It was a pleasant experience thanks to our guide Angela who pointed out the various aspects of the constructions of the stones, the rock churches, the way of life in those caves of the history of Matera with a wealth of details and satisfying our every request for details. Also worth mentioning is the punctuality of the appointment information with messages.

Excellent tour and very knowledgeable local guide

Excellent walking tour to admire the wonders of Matera: truly prepared, patient, clear and comprehensive guide in the explanations. Witty as much as it takes, even to "lighten" the journey up and down on foot, he has provided numerous stories and anecdotes of his youth making us truly understand all the historical, social and political differences that led Matera to become European Capital of Culture for 2019. The tour, it should also be deservedly said, also lasted about thirty munuti more than expected and ended with a taste of typical local specialties (without any hassle from the managers). To be recommended.
