What a wonderful time we had. Santiago was an excellent guide, and provided guidance in both English and Spanish for our group as needed. Plus, he was super knowledgeable of all the wines, the area, and was just fun to chat with about life during the can ride and our group lunch break. As sellers of Domaine Wachau wines at our Restaurant in America, it was exciting to meet the producers in person and get a taste of all the different wines. Plus, getting the contrast with the slightly larger producer and the smaller, family growers was really exciting. A really really hot day made for some lovely white wine. The valley was gorgeous and the stop in Durnstein was super cute and just the right amount of time. They have several different liquor and chocolate sellers so you can get unlimited free samples by hopping from shop to shop. The lunch had great vegetarian options for us, the river cruise was lovely and scenic, and we got a quick pick in Melk before heading home. Thanks Santiago!!!
