Admire city panoramas from the Duomo Terraces. Built using Candoglia marble, on bright days, you can see as far as the Alps and the Apennine Mountains. Elevator optional.

Admire the Duomo's 27 halls and its 14th-century Palazzo Reale's stained glass window, tapestries, and sculptures. See the archaeological remains of the S. Giovanni alle Fonti Baptistery and S. Tecla.

Visit of the super Duomo. The roofs too. I had paid for elevator. OK for the climb. Only small downside we could not go down with. Prohibited. My friend who had back problems suffered a lot in the descent of the stairs which were not very passable. People must be warned.

Well worth standing in 80 plus degree weather to get to the rooftop of the Duomo in Milan. It is an amazing sight! Although you can use an elevator to get to the top be aware that you will still need to climb quite a bit of steep steps. Regardless, I would highly recommend it. Absolutely beautiful views.

The Duomo is probably the most beautiful cathedral I’ve ever seen. However I don’t advise people to book the rooftop - in total we’ve queued for 1h30 hours (including 45 min in the sun, 32 degrees with no possibility to be in the shade) to spend only 5 min on the roof (you don’t need more to take few pictures, and it was way too hot up there to stay more than that anyway) . We’ve booked the lift, and despite that we still had to climb around 50 stairs on the way up and literally all stairs on the way down as the lift wasn’t available to go back down. So not suitable for people with disability. So overall, this cathedral is totally worth a visit but the rooftop is a complete rip off .
