Best way to get around

Booked the tickets online to save paper ( they still give you a paper ticket on board ) and the bus stop was near yo our hotel . The buses were generally on time and the routes interesting and not too long winded . We saw all we came to see and more . Best hop on / off bus service we have used ( Toronto was rubbish ) .

Excellent value for money

Only very minor problems with bus timings (first bus late at Lotto) and a couple of earphone sockets and bus stop numbers with route 3 (the last two or three didin't correspond, as if one had been added physically but not on the map) but, apart from that, this is an excellent way of seeing Milan tourist sites. I did the two day pass and managed to use all three routes twice, first for orientation and then second hopping off and back on.

Good way of orientating yourself to Milan but much less to see than in other cities. Traffic very heavy, several narrow streets so slow moving. Drivers make no attempt to slow down when passing sites highlighted on the tour commentary so have to be very quick and alert with your camera shutter finger!!
