Begin your tour at the Mýrdalsjökull Base Camp. Meet your guide and get dressed up in an insulated cover-all. Then, step aboard the glacier truck, specially modified to climb the steep mountain road leading up to the edge of the glacier. Once you reach the snowmobiles, get a briefing from the guide on how to safely operate the gear, before starting the ride. Be safely led through the crevassed ice field of Mýrdalsjökull. Upon making it to the top of the ice cap, step off the snowmobiles to admire the amazing views of Iceland's South Coast. Below your feet rests the giant Katla Volcano, hidden beneath the ice cap. After an hour-long ride, head back to the Base Camp. Make sure not to forget your camera to savor the sheer magnitude of the glacier.

The adventure starts with a short safety briefing on how to operate the ATVs. When everyone is ready, it's take-off time, when you'll head for the majestic black sand plains of Sólheimasandur. It was an amazing experience. Two new caves formed in the past few weeks and they were mind blowing. The glacier walk was also fun! Would recommend! Our driver and guide Kuba was also on point with jokes and plenty of information about the glacier and its surroundings.

From beginning of the tour , all services were good, and the visit to the caves were awesome, with great security and Kuba the tour guide provided lots of information
