Sedona: Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with Dinner

1. Sedona: Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with Dinner

Ride in comfort and style as you travel to Northern Arizona in an air-conditioned vehicle that seats no more than 14 passengers for an intimate and personal experience. Experience fully narrated tours from some of the most knowledgeable and experienced guides in the Southwest. If you are departing from Sedona, your tour begins as you ascend the Colorado Plateau through the lush Oak Creek Canyon. Over the 27 miles of winding roads, you leave the beautiful red rocks behind and ascend 2000 feet to the tall Ponderosa Pines.  Upon arriving in Flagstaff pick up the remaining guests, and travel past the dormant volcanoes of the San Francisco Peaks on your way to Grand Canyon National Park. Your first stop is at the Historic Cameron Trading Post where you will have the chance to check out the Native American craftsmanship. Then as you reach the Grand Canyon’s East entrance from the Navajo Nation, you will see the Little Colorado River Gorge and the western edge of the Painted Desert. Upon entering the Grand Canyon National Park, you will get your first views of the Grand Canyon and the mighty Colorado River at Desert View. Climb up to the top of the Watchtower Observatory, and learn about one of the achievements of famous architect Mary J. Colter. Take some time to take in the beautiful panoramic views at different viewpoints along the South Rim of the canyon. Marvel at some of the widest and deepest scenic views the Grand Canyon has to offer. From the South Rim, gaze 14 miles across to the North Rim. You will also visit the only point where you can see both Phantom Ranch as well as the Kaibab Suspension Bridge. A complimentary dinner is included on this tour. The journey culminates as your guide takes you to the ideal spot to have an opportunity to see an amazing array of colors, shadows, and lighting that are the hallmark of a Sunset at the Grand Canyon. Relax and enjoy the ride back to your hotel as you reflect on your Grand Canyon experience.

What people are saying about Navajo Nation

The tour was great. Our tour guide Stanton was organized, knowledgeable and entertaining. We were able to see quite a few sites and he offered great suggestions. Would suggest changing description on website as a great deal of info about dinner and I would suggest that it is not accurate. That being said Stanton was very up front with us about food options and he suggested lunch at reservation with less time for dinner. Dinner was included but honestly it should have been lunch. When reading the website you get the impression the higher cost for tour is because it includes dinner at a nice restaurant and actually says the Arizona Room which was not even open the day we toured, Friday. Please change this. Focus more on the tour that is given and the positive aspects of touring the canyon southern rim With a knowledgeable guide. Stanton was that for us.

We were picked up at our hotel in Sedona by Steve. We really enjoyed spending the whole day with Steve for our Sunset tour of the Grand Canyon. Steve was so knowledgeable. He was a excellent tour guide. First stop was at the Cameron Trading Post to pick up nice souvenirs. Then we had a really nice dinner outside and saw lots of elk right across from where we ate. All the lookout spots were beautiful and Steve took us on a nice walk to look over the canyon. Steve made our day in the Grand Canyon very enjoyable. I definitely would recommend this tour company to anyone wanting to see the Grand Canyon.

Our guide was superb. Knowledgeable, professional, articulate, sensitive to tour participant needs and wants are just some of the characteristics of this gentleman. The tour was more like a family outing than a paid activity. The views we were taken to see were awesome. We had all the time we needed at each stop to take pictures and the guide helped us get the best angles. Dinner was very good. In summary, I'd do it again.

During the drive to the Grand Canyon, the guide, Brad, told us all about Sedona and the Grand Canyon. He has a wealth of knowledge and is attentive and fun. The ride was scenic and we stopped at several locations along the Canyon. The best part of the day was the end when we watched the sunset over the Grand Canyon. It was absolutely beautiful!

Our tour guide Steve was absolutely wonderful. He made the trip so memorable, highly recommend this tour and company.
