Simply show your ticket at the museum entrance, then enjoy your added perks during your visit. Come prepared to immediately start enjoying the artwork and architecture featured at Neue Nationalgalerie. After 6 years of closure for renovations, the museum will once again present major works of Classical Modernism from the Nationalgalerie Collection. Admire works by artists such as Otto Dix, Hannah Höch, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Lotte Laserstein and Renée Sintenis. The works of art assembled in the museum reflect the social processes of a turbulent time, among them the German Empire’s reform movements, the First World War, the Weimar Republic’s Golden Twenties, the Second World War, and the Holocaust.

A most prestigious pavilion, bright and spacious adorned with great works of art and the unmissable Alexander Calder's small and large works. It was greatly managed so that people were seen moving through the space whilst respecting distancing and wearing masks. There was calmness and respect and the mixing of the outside in with skilled roller boarders practising outside the elegant structure. An oasis for calm and reflection in busy Berlin. Just great!

Well, couldn't use museums due to the Coronavirus issue. But did use the card for transit- on the U, S, and R trains. Much better than being on a cocoon-like tourist bus, as it gave insight on real-life in Berlin and its people.

You come to a temple with no altar, no dogma. The space, the materials, the proportions, colors and the wide vessels for the light give you weight, play changes in perception and gratitude in you. There is art in this house that you become a part of. Whoever climbs out of the hall into the depths of the bright exhibition rooms, along the walls made of glass to the sculpture garden so close to the center of a city of heaven, earth and houses, then climbs up again via the wide stairs, the floating coffers of the black roof against, who feels a touch of ingenuity inherent in this house, which osts its firm promise to share with the visitors.

Excellent presentation, particularly the new large panels in the exhibition spaces detailing more provenance or a larger picture of the period and particular artists that may be missing in large collections and why. It should be possible to reach room 5 also from the foyer, ie directly after the cafe area. Why cannot another person be stationed there for entry?

Beautiful building structure and excellent exhibition very well organized.

Despite general current restrictions, we enjoyed our visit to Berlin.
