Full description
Join this tour in the Manchac Swamp on a real life adventure for the whole family. Your local captains will take you on an exciting journey to explore Louisiana's abundant wildlife in the bayous of Cajun Country. Journey by boat, Cajun-style, for a tour through the heart of Southern Louisiana's swamplands. Your swamp boat will take you into the meandering bayous where you'll see moss-draped cypress trees, fascinating plant life, and the creatures who make their homes here. Swamp creatures are used to seeing the tour boats, so you'll likely catch a glimpse of various birds, snakes, deer, and fish, and possibly even an alligator. As your boat drifts through the waterways, you will learn about the Louisiana Wetlands, the inhabitants of the swamp–particularly the life and habits of the American Alligator–as well as the unique history of the local Cajun town of Frenier.

From the time we walked in to the time we left, the whole experience was great! The ladies at the front counter were great. The waiting area was nice. We were able to sit and look at the swamp, see the alligators, take pictures and more. Next when we got on the boat and Danny was absolutely AMAZING !!!

Such a great family friendly experience! Our Guide was awesome and interactive. He knew where to find all the Alligators. They also fed them which was awesome to see. We also had the opportunity to hold a baby alligator. I would recommend Cajun pride to all my friends and family that are visiting the area.

We did the early morning tour and that was a great bet. The alligators were very active and came swimming to the boat to get their treat from the captain and we even saw raccoons and wild boars. Captain Danny was great, and funny and told great stories. We got to hold a small alligator! Kid friendly and entertaining. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and we highly recommend this tour.
