What people are saying about New Orleans

I took the "Music of New Orleans: Listen and Learn Tour" --DO IT!!!-- you will not regret it. I forgot the name of the guide ( waited to long to write this, sorry) but she had short brown hair, a great smile, and passion oozing from all over. I will admit I almost didn't make it--came late, and lost an earring in the process-- but I am grateful for their flexibility, and was able to catch up to the tour at Congo Square. There was four of us total, 1-guide a couple from Boston and myself and we spent our time in the Tremé neighborhood. If you love music you owe it to yourself to get educated on all of it, including the race relations, real jazz, and all the stories you don't find in traditional classroom textbooks. Real talk, I will never listen to Jazz, Rock n' Roll or any other music the same. The only thing that could've made this better was if by some miracle Big Freedia popped into the picture to say "What's Good?!"

They allowed me to propose during the ride and the manager that night even helped to capture the special moment. We are grateful for the extra accommodation. She said YES! The food onboard was amazing, and the band, who played a perfect rendition of happy birthday as a distraction, were the best we have heard so far into our forever. THANK YOU for our incredible memory!

Great food! Buffet style New Orleans food, meat was perfect although the wife died for 2nds of the veggies. Well worth the dinner add on. Be prepared for chilly Mississippi River cool breeze.

We loved it. The food was really good. They had a variety even when I have allergies with seafood. Super chill & relaxing

The live band was awesome, and so was the dinner. Nothing beats seeing the New Orleans skyline at night.
