We had a great boat ride with great views of the skyline and the Statue of Liberty. You are not allowed to take food and drink on board, your bags will be checked beforehand. It is advisable to be there 45 minutes beforehand if you want to sit outside upstairs.

I sat on the upper deck and totally enjoyed myself. Our guide, David was very knowledgeable and did a good job of fielding questions. He was also great to keep people from Stan finding in front of windows locking the view. My kids and grandkids went to the lower deck and stood at the rail quite a bit but I had more fun just enjoying the ride. My husband and I took the tour with my daughter, her husband, and their three kids, aged 15, 14, and 3. We all had a good time. I really should say more about David - he had some humorous stories but wasn’t too corny. I learned a lot about the area and the Statue of Liberty. I liked that he credited one of his teachers with teaching him the poem about the Statue and he did a great job of reciting it. I would go again!

Nice family option for a unique view of NYC. I love that the boat goes so close to Statue of Liberty. My husband and one of my daughters felt that an hour long boat ride would have been sufficient. Not sure if you guys have thought about offering an abbreviated tour. Just a thought. Thanks-The Fogarty family
