Full description
"The Phantom of the Opera", winner of seven 1988 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and now the longest-running show in Broadway history, is based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. The timeless tale tells the story of the hideously-deformed Phantom who lurks beneath the stage of the Paris Opera, exercising a reign of terror over its occupants. The phantom then falls in love with a young soprano, devoting himself to creating a new star for the opera by nurturing her extraordinary talents and employing all the skills at his disposal. "The Phantom of the Opera" has enchanted audiences with its haunting story and breathtaking music for over 25 years. Now you can experience Broadway's longest-running show, brought to life by Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic score.

At the end of the play I felt that no matter how loud I applauded, it was not enough to recognize the excellent work of the team of actors and production of this play. A work where the staging, the music, the singing, the emotions come to us as in life "by surprise" and in this excellent work. Coming from so far just to see her was very gratifying, the applause will not reach you. I recommend it.

Be sure to have your voucher and even the email you received ready when claiming your ticket. We went to Majestic the day before to get our tickets and I showed the voucher but the man behind the counter wanted me to show him the email I received so I also showed him that as well. We got good seats in orchestra row K with good view of the scene. Be there at least half an hour before as there’ll be a queue and security checks. Also, don’t miss the start of the second act so be sure not to get stuck in the restroom queue.

Amazing show! Nice looking theatre! Crowd treated like cattle.

Loved watching the Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theatre. The actors, the setting, the music, the choreography, everything was great. The theatre was really nice and old fashioned which adds points to the experience. The downside of it al was the way the audience is treated. Going into the theatre, sitting down, and then leaving, felt more like we were cattle. Always bossing us around. True, most people there looked like they came just to cross off another tourist attraction off their list, rather than watching a play, but even in regular tourist attractions I didn't get the cattle feeling like I did here.
