Full description
Your day will begin with an early morning departure from Times Square in Manhattan, where you’ll be greeted by your professional, bilingual tour guide for the day. Your first destination will be the nation's current capital, Washington, DC (travel time is approximately 4-5 hours) where your tour will begin with a visit to the Iwo Jima Memorial, dedicated to honor the US Marines by depicting a famous photograph taken during World War II, the raising of the American flag at the battle of Iwo Jima, Japan. You will continue with a visit to the impressive Lincoln Memorial honoring the president who promoted the abolition of slavery in the United States. Washington D.C. is the center for all 3 branches of the U.S. government. During this tour you will stop for a classic outside view of the seat of two of them: the White House, home and office of the U.S. President and the Capitol Building, home of the U.S. Congress and where the laws of this country are made. Your visit to Washington concludes with free time for lunch on your own and a possible short visit to one of the Smithsonian museums, the world-famous National Air and Space Museum. Your next destination is the first-ever U.S. capital, chosen during the Revolutionary War: Philadelphia, PA. You'll re-board your comfortable motor coach for an approximately 3-hour journey. You'll arrive directly to Philadelphia's historic Old City neighborhood. Your first stop will be at the Independence National Historical Park where your guide will lead you on a brief walking tour. You will have the opportunity to see some of the main historical sites such as the Liberty Bell, the famous symbol of America's independence and Independence Hall, the birthplace of the United States. It was within its walls that America's founding documents - the Declaration of Independence (July 4, 1776) and Constitution - were debated and adopted. Your visit to Philadelphia concludes with a stop at the Rocky Steps, in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where you'll have an opportunity to re-enact the famous scene from the 1976 movie by ascending to the top of the steps. At the end of the day, relax on board your motor coach for the return to Times Square in Manhattan arriving between 10 PM and 10:30 PM. The day’s itinerary is subject to traffic conditions and may be modified due to time constraints.

Everything was very good, the driver, the guide guy (so friendly and helpful). The only issue was the address shown on the ticket, it says 239w 42th st, New York, NY 10036, and I've been there 4:50am and i didn't see anybody, right away a saw the ticket again and i saw another address two times square, 714 seventh av. Between 47th and 48th streets and i had to take a taxi to get there if not i coul lose the bus. Thanks to God the bus was waiting, but should be good the company fix that problem.

Interesting tour with more or less short stops. Someone who likes to look at buildings etc. should keep their hands off it. Who is enough to see the White House, the Lincoln Memorial and more in an average of 10-15 minutes will get their money's worth. Most of our tour was in Spanish as we were the only ones who didn't speak Spanish. Nevertheless, the guide took the time to repeat everything relevant in English. In advance he even asked if that was okay with us. The bus was comfortable, offers WiFi and the option of charging electronic devices via USB. In and of itself, we were very satisfied with the tour and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Washington tour guide was excellent, a lot to cover for short time

from the meeting place-very busy but quite safe, double checked for tickets but not ID. The bus- clean and ok for comfort, got toilet but not enough support to be left clean by customer- a bit unsanitary. Excellent and safe drivers, respect everyone as adult. Bi-lingual tour guide is excellent, except some people just don't get it. So sometimes we lost time by waiting on them. Short but informative visit to the center with 10 minute video. Lots and lots of walking, sometimes very unforgiving to older generations, specially on a hot and humid day. No options to eat at chinatown, wherein, food is a little cheaper and interesting. No megaphone for everyone to hear what instruction was being given, so sometimes the older generations makes mistake by not being on time. Only a black open umbrella was used as a point or mark to head back to the bus or where the guide will be at a certain time. Bill, a veteran, our tour guide was excellent- historically more believable than the statue/building
