What people are saying about Palazzo Vecchio

Overall rating

4.5 / 5

We included the tower which I say is a must do. But be prepared bec it’s 418 steps to top and it was hard. The video guide is confusing because the letters on the screen don’t correspond to a thing on the tour so figuring out what room you were in was hard each time we moved. The map on the guide is just not the best. Even the operators in each room didn’t know what letter we should pick. The doors outside each room could easily have a sign with the letter that matched the guide and that would solve everything. It did not.

The guide took us to Michelangelo Square though it was not covered by our particular tour. He also offered many fun facts. A very enjoyable ride indeed.

Beautiful Cathedral and panoramic view from balcony. Dogo’s Palace visit was also very interesting. Guide Roberta was first class.

Great overall tour! Get the highlights of Florence and beautiful pictures with narration that is not too much but just right!

Great tour. Very informative on the history of Florence and the Medici family.
