Having never hiked in the Southwest before, my hubby & I opted for a guided hike. Linda did a great job setting a comfortable pace and sharing her deep knowledge of the desert plants, animals and culture. The views were amazing and we walked away with so much more info than we would have had self-guided. I highly recommend this tour and wish we had more time for a second tour through this operator (REI). Thank you!!

My hiking guide was Mr. Denny and he was absolutely amazing! Throughout the hike he explained about different type of vegetation and their history. He always made sure that we stopped on a regular basis and I had some water so that I would not get the hydrated. And he was overall a very pleasant and nice man. The trail was perfect. Not too rocky or complicated especially since it was my first time.

Kimberly is the best guide! We had such an amazing time on this tour. Kimberly provided amazing info, was fun to talk to, and made us feel comfortable and safe.

Weather was great! Our guides were very knowledgeable and fun!
