What people are saying about Pompei

Paolo was absolutely excellent. He is an archeologist who has been (and still is) actively involved in excavations near Pompeii. He was prompt, friendly, and engaging. My 2 daughters, ages 8 and 11, really liked him and learned a lot. He kept s good pace to keep interest high—and also sought out shady spots when he’d stop to tell us about something. Our visit was greatly enriched by Paolo. I walked past other visitors in large groups being strung along—or going it alone without a guide—and felt very glad we chose to use Askos Tours. Even in the hot, walking for almost 3 hours, my girls were nothing but happy and engaged. (And so were the adults in our family: we are 3-generations.) Worth every Euro!

Wonderful experience with a not only prepared but also enthusiastic guide who made us travel to ancient Pompeii through 3D prints and ultra-modern technological projections and fantastic historiographical anecdotes that we would never have known about without his presentation! Highly recommended before visiting the excavations!
